Correlation isn't causation

How to use correlated workforce signals responsibly when making decisions.

Correlation isn't causation

What a correlation actually tells you

That two things moved together in a population over a period. That is a direction for investigation, not a conclusion about cause.

Guardrails we apply

Report the population and period. Show the strength and the counter-examples. Never present a correlation as a reason for an individual decision about a person.

Deciding with context

The leaders who get the most from connected signals treat them as the start of a conversation with the people closest to the work.
